Push it, don’t hype

Interview mit Daniel Seuffert, Axel S. Gruner und Wilhelm Buehler über ihre allbsd.de-Intiative.

“*BSD needs more support. We have to tell the people out there that *BSD is a superb OS. That’s a push. We do not want people to tell that Microsoft is for losers or that Linux is just a wild hack and is crap for all operating systems have the right to coexist. We just want the people to see there is another operating system which could be better for their needs. That’s the difference. Pushing is telling which could be best (also telling that other systems would be better for them); hyping is like telling the people out there that $operating system is the best for all things.”
